Life is Changing, I am Changing !?!

Something in a recent study led me to look up the word satisfaction. What I saw was very enlightening. My current circumstances are bringing me to a huge transition, really my entire life is being shaken and nothing will remain the same. As I look back over many years of not living up to my potential and simply not being true to who I am at heart, I understand and accept that things must change, no matter how difficult and unpleasant the process. You can see in the photo that I was looking up words in the middle of the night, yes, these things are weighing heavy on my mind. Anyway...

When I saw this list of words in the thesaurus it became so clear how these changes will affect my life. I was looking at a lists of synonyms for the words satisfaction and gratification, as well as the list of antonyms underneath, my jaw dropped as I realized this symbolizes my life journey.

There it was in black and white, words describing what has been my reality on one list and what will be on the other. How amazing, a bit unsettling yet comforting at the same time. As I read words like disappointment, frustration, pain, sorrow, … and then contentment delight, joy, I recognized that truly I am transitioning from years of sorrow to new days filled with joy.
